CarbonMiner Plan Partner with Australian Carbon Capture Technology to Open a New Chapter in Carbon Reduction Industry

2024-10-09

Recently, CarbonMiner, a leading Chinese company in carbon fixation and Mineralization technology, reached a preliminary consensus on collaboration with a renowned publicly listed Australian carbon capture technology company. This partnership aims to advance the integration and development of the CCUS industry chain, contributing to global environmental protection and sustainability efforts. The establishment of this collaborative intent marks a significant step forward in CarbonMiner's internationalization process and injects new vitality into global carbon reduction initiatives.

Both companies engaged in extensive discussions about their respective backgrounds, development plans, and business priorities, identifying key areas for collaboration. The advanced nanoporous carbon-based adsorbent technology from the Australian company complements CarbonMiner’s expertise in CO2 processing and commercial applications. This technology has been comprehensively evaluated by international research institutions, providing cost-effective and energy-efficient innovative solutions for the carbon capture sector.

Building on this foundation, CarbonMiner and one of the Australian company’s investors further explored the specifics of the collaboration, gaining a deeper understanding of each other’s needs to lay the groundwork for future partnership. The two parties intend to do first trial in the Hong Kong market. The cooperation will focus on localize carbon capture, mineralization, and application, thereby promoting carbon operations in the region. Additionally, leveraging the existing laboratory established by the Australian company in Norway, CarbonMiner plans to integrate its technology with the Australian company's innovative sorbent to advance commercialization in the Norwegian market. This aligns with European policies and market trends. By utilizing nanotechnology and carbon-fixation for effective Co2 capture and utilization, the process avoids the production of environmentally harmful by-products. Additionally, the recyclability of the adsorbents enhances both environmental sustainability and economic efficiency.

During discussions on project specifics, both parties identified key issues and evaluated the feasibility of the collaboration. The Australian company expressed a strong commitment to partnering with CarbonMiner and is keen to ensure the project's success. The collaboration framework and detailed plans are now being carefully refined.

Mr. Chen Yu (Steve), CEO of CarbonMiner, remarked on the significance of this partnership, stating, “Collaborating with the Australian carbon capture technology company represents an important leap for our enterprise and is a concrete practice of our commitment to global environmental protection. We look forward to working together to achieve integrated upstream and downstream operations in the carbon capture industry, driving the sustainable green development.”

This collaboration not only advances CarbonMiner’s technological innovation and market expansion but also positions China as a key contributor to global carbon reduction solutions. CarbonMiner, together with the Australian carbon capture technology company, will work in unison to pave the way for a greener future, contributing to the sustainable development of the environmental sector.
