On October 18, 2025, the first carbon sequestration aerated concrete block production line in Northwest China was officially completed and put into operation at Shaanxi XinCarbon New Material Technology Co., Ltd in Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. As a landmark project for the industrialization of green building materials in Northwest China under the advancement of the national "dual carbon" strategy, the production line adopts the independently developed OCMC technology by CarbonMiner. It not only fills the gap in the large-scale production of carbon sequestration aerated concrete blocks in Northwest China, but also builds a closed-loop system of "diversified carbon capture - carbon storage in building materials - carbon reduction in construction". It provides a replicable carbon sequestration model for the low-carbon transformation of the national building materials industry, and also contributes a new green solution to the global exploration of regional carbon emission reduction paths.
At the inauguration ceremony of the carbon sequestration production line, Mr. Shang Hailong, Member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, and Mr. Hu Jianxin, Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Low-Carbon Development Promotion Association, participated in the event online. Many guests attended the ceremony in person, including Dr. Mu Guodong, Independent Director of Shaanxi Energy Co., Ltd., Mr. Wang Gongshun, founder of the predecessor of Shaanxi XinCarbon New Material Technology Co., Ltd, and Ms. Zhang Lijie, Executive Vice President of the Shaanxi Carbon Neutrality Technology Development Association.

The carbon sequestration production line is completed, and technology empowers green transformation.
Against the backdrop of growing global attention to climate change and the steady advancement of China's "dual carbon" strategy, green and low-carbon development has become the main theme of the times. The carbon-sequestering aerated concrete block project put into production this time is of great significance, with a total planned capacity of 400,000 cubic meters and a designed annual capacity of 150,000 cubic meters for Phase I. As market demand grows and project operations gradually mature, subsequent capacity will be released in an orderly manner to meet the increasing demand for green building materials in Northwest China.

The product makes a stunning debut, with technology leading the future.
The OCMC technology uses cement and concrete products as carriers, mineralizing and sequestering captured carbon dioxide during the production process to achieve large-scale carbon removal.
Its core product, the "Obrick Green Carbon Cube," has delivered outstanding performance. Each cubic meter of carbon-sequestering aerated concrete block can directly fix 9-50kg of carbon dioxide, enabling the transformation of traditional building materials into low-carbon products.
